What does it involve?

After your medical history has been noted and any areas identified which will need special focus, you will take off your shoes and socks and recline on the treatment couch or Lafuma chair for an hour’s treatment.

I will clean your feet and examine them and then the treatment will comprise a mixture of soothing massage and relaxation along with finger pressures on specific reflexes.  You will be told what the area is and asked to rate any sharp or painful areas to indicate to me the extent of the imbalance.

Nothing in reflexology is curative or diagnostic.  The therapy is general and its effects are subtle but amazing.

Adult_reflexology_image_4If you are squeamish about your feet being touched or ticklish, the general consensus is that this treatment is firm and affirming and very enjoyable.  Most people report leaving the treatment room on a cloud of euphoria with “zinging” sensations in their feet.

Hand reflexology is available to people who cannot have foot reflexology and is equally effective.  Often hand reflexology techniques are passed on at the end of your treatment for you to self treat and help yourself.

How Often?

My advice would be to take treatments regularly to begin with and then get into a regular monthly or bi monthly treatment regime.

For this reason I offer a discounted regular treatment price which helps people to get balanced and then maintain that status of health and well being.
